How to add an asset
To add an asset, go to theAssets page and click Add Asset.
You'll be taken to a form where you can give the asset a name, assign an asset number, and enter the make, model, serial number and other relevant details for that equipment.
Note that before you add your first asset, you'll need to first create one or more Asset Templates, which are how we categorize your asset information and know which assets should be associated with which problem types for the work order creation workflow.
Asset Templates also allow you define additional custom fields in case there are unique pieces of information you want captured for a particular kind of asset.
